This past week, we had an opportunity to giveaway one of the most popular themes in the WordPress industry, WooThemes. This giveaway turned out to be one of the most retweeted and most participated one out of all the products we have given away so far. We were giving away 10 single theme licenses of WooThemes to our lucky users.
This was a twitter-exclusive contest where users were required to tweet about the contest and post a comment with their twitter link. Last requirement was that they must follow @wpbeginner on twitter, so we could notify them via Direct Message. (A lot of winning entries were deemed ineligible because they were not following us).
Winners were selected randomly. Each entry was assigned a number, and the lucky ones should have received our Direct messages already.
