WordCamp Columbus 2011 – Fun and Learning at the Same Time

This weekend, I (Syed Balkhi) attended WordCamp Columbus 2011. The event was two days long in which the first day was a workshop for small businesses, non-profits, and new bloggers whereas the second day was a traditional WordCamp style presentations. It was a lot of fun, and I got to hang out with some amazing folks. I also gave a total of four presentations: “Selecting the Perfect WordPress and Plugin”, “Monetizing Your WordPress Blog Beyond the Banner Ads”, Short talk about the Good, Bad, and Ugly of blogging on the first day. The second day, I gave a talk on “how to speed up WordPress”. Below are the slides:
