WP Limit Tags plugin settings

On the configuration page, you need to enter the maximum number of tags you want to allow for each post. After that select the post types where you want to enable this restriction. Once you are done, click on the save changes button to store your settings.

Now when you go to create a new post or edit an existing one, your tag box will have the maximum limit in place.

For example, if your maximum tag limit is 3, then after you add the third tag, this plugin will remove the add button. This limits you from adding the fourth tag.
