Now Assign Audience Lists at Campaign Level in Google AdWords with “Audience Targeting”

With audience targeting, advertisers at Google AdWords can select desired audiences for different ads. However, earlier it was possible only in the ad group, means you’ve to select target audiences for each and every ad group. But, now Google has allowed Audience Targeting in Google AdWords at campaign level.

With this new update in Google AdWords, advertisers, instead of ad groups,  can now assign audience lists of his own choice at the very campaign level.

All advertisers on Google AdWords can now access to campaign level ‘Audience Targeting’. It is a new feature that has been added in Google AdWords for the convenience of the advertisers. A great update for Pay Per Click (PPC) campaign.

How Campaign Level ‘Audience Targeting’ will now Help Advertisers?

Now, advertisers will not have to put their valuable time and effort to assign target audience in every ad group in a campaign. They will no longer have to manage audience bid adjustments at every step. Advertisers can now access to this feature at the campaign level. This has been introduced in Google AdWords, so that, advertisers can engage better with their customers.

What was the Earlier Scenario?

Earlier, the audience targeting used to be done manually for each ad group. There were only two ways to generate the lists of audiences. Those were through Re-marketing Lists for Search Ads (RLSA) and Customer Match.

At the same level, the bid adjustment also required to be done. So, it was very hectic and time-consuming process.

Specifications of ‘Audience Targeting’

This feature has made it possible, where advertisers can adjust the bids as well as can measure them easily. This can be done in an ad campaign and not in ad group level.

  • You will not have to change search audiences for each ad group.
  • You can now do bid adjustments in bulk.
  • You will be able to spend money in a much smarter manner for each ad campaign.

However, if you are more comfortable with the previous version of bidding, managing and creating the list of audiences, then you can surely continue with that. Both the facilities are now available in Google AdWords.

Google AdWords has become more flexible than ever before. But, time will only define whether it has really become user-friendly for all the advertisers or not.
